I never knew my paternal grandparents.

In this body of work I traveled across country to meet them and move them out of their long term home in the Smoky Mountains. Based off of a morbid curiosity and an artists intuition, these photographs are documentation testaments to reasons for separation, insight to relationships I’m healing, and information for the relationships I will continue to leave behind.
